From Wiki for Sustainable IT

The Wiki for Sustainable IT is an open documentary resource, published by the Institut du Numérique Responsable (INR) and the ISIT Europe portal.

Purpose

The wiki brings together the definitions, frameworks and methods of sustainable IT: eco-design of digital services, digital sufficiency, accessibility, responsible AI, and measurement of the environmental impact of digital technology.

It is aimed at professionals, teachers, students and decision-makers looking for a reliable, sourced and understandable definition of a term in the field. Its purpose is that of a digital commons: a collectively maintained resource, freely accessible, without an account and without advertising.

Access and reuse

Content is published under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0, public domain) licence. You may read, quote, translate and reuse it freely, including for commercial purposes, without prior permission.

Crediting the source ("Wiki for Sustainable IT" and the page URL) remains appreciated, though it is not legally required.

Language versions

The wiki is multilingual. Each language has its own editorial space:

Language versions are not mere translations: each space evolves at its own pace, according to the contributions it receives.
